Tulsa, Oklahoma — The Tulsa Expo Square Coliseum played host to what many call “The Toughest Tournament in the World” as six youth wrestlers from UP Outlaw Wrestling Club, accompanied by two coaches, took the national stage at the 2026 Tulsa Nationals from January 15–18.
Facing elite competition from across the country, Outlaw athletes went head-to-head with multiple nationally ranked opponents—including three #1-ranked wrestlers. While the event provided invaluable experience for all competitors, it also marked a breakthrough moment for several young Outlaws, highlighted by two All-American finishes.
Jordan Dunigan (6-1) | 10U Girls | 110 lbs | 2nd Place (All-American)
Jordan opened the tournament with a first-rounds match against the #1-ranked girl in the country. Despite leading 12-7 late in the third, she was pinned. She stormed back with 6 straight wins, earning 4 pins and 2 Major Decision victories to claim 2nd Place. Her resilience, dominance, and poise throughout the bracket firmly established her among the elite girls in the country
Paxton Beckett (4-2) | 12U Boys | 96 lbs | 5th Place (All-American)
Paxton put together an outstanding tournament in a loaded bracket, outscoring his opponents 40-21 en-route to the semi-finals. His run led to a semi-final showdown against #1 Aguilar, where he battled relentlessly, trailing late before being pinned. Despite the loss, Paxton showed tremendous growth, grit, and composure—highlighting both strengths to build on and areas to sharpen as he continues his climb on the national level.
Preston Beckett (2-2) | 12U Boys | 88lbs
Preston picked up one pin and one decision win, showcasing solid offense throughout the tournament. His losses came against elite competition, including a technical fall to the #1-ranked wrestler from St. Edward (OH) and a close decision loss. A strong showing against one of the toughest fields in the country.
Adam Abu Hallawah (1-2) | 15U Boys | 125 lbs
Adam made his national debut at Tulsa Nationals after competing previously at Freestyle State, Bigfoot, and Tulsa. He earned his first national-level victory, while dropping a tight decision and a loss via technical fall. A valuable step forward on the national stage.
Dru Dunigan (0-2) | 6U Girls | 52 lbs
